Growers Services is a multiple Kubota dealer excellence award winner and five-star Kubota dealership group. It has Kubota branches in Mildura, Renmark, Swan Hill, Echuca and Ballarat as well as two specialty branches in Berri and Griffith.
Growers Services is a family owned and operated business that has been in operation since 1946.
Our group has grown from 2 staff to over 100 staff today across 7 locations.

1930 - 1945
Growers Services is a company that has been around for over 75 years.
The Ayling family started in farm machinery in the early 1930’s, with Bert Ayling having the first tractor in the Barmera district of South Australia.
By the late 1940’s Bert Ayling had a fleet of McCormick Deering 1020/W4/W6 tractors, many of which were on steel wheels. These tractors were very popular for rotary hoeing & discing which was not possible/practical with a horse.
1945
After WWII, the new settlers wanted to own their own tractor. The business moved from a tractor contracting company to a tractor dealership selling international harvester machinery.
In 1955 Bert’s son Alec Ayling joined the business and helped to further grow its operations, taking over the business in 1977.
Over time, Growers Services expanded into other fields such as construction equipment, earthmoving machines, harvesting equipment and more. Alec Ayling was later joined by his son Steven Ayling.
The family always had a focus in being a reliable and honest partner to agricultural businesses.
1992
Sunraysia Motors (based in Mildura) which also started in 1946 was purchased by Steven Ayling in 1992 after it went through some tough times. The brands it represented were Case IH and Kubota.
Our focus was on Kubota in horticulture and Case IH in broadacre.
1998
The Case IH Dealer in Murray Bridge went bankrupt, giving the opportunity for an additional broadacre branch. This branch was later sold to fund another expansion in 2002 but the property was retained.
In 2002 the Swan Hill and Ouyen Case IH broadacre branches were purchased from a liquidator, expanding the group further.
2017
In 2017 the family could see the growth and opportunity in the nut industry so organised a trip to California to door knock nut machinery manufacturers in the USA.
We were successful in obtaining the best brands in the industry, being Orchard-Rite, Nelson Hardie, Weiss McNair, Thomas Manufacturing and Legacy Industries franchises.
2019
In early 2019 Growers Services launched their hire shop in Berri. Today in Berri we have over 100 machines that we hire out.
The fleet is always growing as we listen to feedback from our customers.
2022
In 2022 the business sold its Case IH broadacre branches in Mildura, Swan Hill and Ouyen to fund the purchase of additional Kubota dealerships.
The first dealership purchased was WestAg in Ballarat, a key lifestyle and livestock region that the Kubota range suits well.
Ballarat also represents Polaris all terrain vehicles, which the Growers Services group has continued.
2022
In December 2022 we purchased the Krone, Kubota, Polaris and Hardi franchises from Echuca CIH in Echuca.
Echuca is a very large hay market as well as mixed farming ventures.
The branch will initially be run from a small site, with plans for a larger new dealership in the future.
